News From CPC

The 2022-2023 academic year is here! We hope that all of you were able to spend some time with your cadets this summer on their break! However, I know the time seems never ending for our 2026 families. Soon you may see your cadet at Acceptance Day on 5 August 2022. We wish them well in the last couple of weeks of Basic Cadet Training!

With the start of the academic year, football tailgate season is just around the corner! Whether you are attending the football game or not, CPC tailgates are a lot of fun for the entire family and a great way to get to meet and know your fellow CPC members. Our tailgates are in the cadet tailgate area, and your CPC nametag will give you access to this cordoned off area. We need a lot of volunteers to pull off our tailgates each week. Sign-ups will come out for each home game. CPC provides the grilled main courses (hamburgers, hot dogs & brats & always some fun surprises like ribs & drumsticks) and water. We ask that you please bring something to share and sign up for a spot to help us run the tailgate. Also, please consider getting involved on the tailgate committee. We look forward to meeting you soon and hope to see you at the tailgates! Check the rest of the newsletter for more details.

We cannot run our club without you as a volunteer. Please see the Volunteering Section below that will provide descriptions of each open position.

We hope you enjoy the final weeks of summer!

Danny & Kathy Cometto
USAFA CPC Co-Presidents

The Fundraising Chair is responsible for overseeing the Goodie Bag Chair.

Parents' Weekend 2022 Chair - The Parents’ Weekend Information Fair Coordinator will run the CPC Booth at Arnold Hall. This is to provide information to parents and facilitate Goodie Bag Orders. We have a bar code that parents can scan that will allow them to order with their phones. No collection of paper orders or money will be necessary. This is a great position for a Sustaining Member.
