Happy New Year! The time flew by for us during the holidays and we are hopeful you enjoyed the time with your cadet(s). It was great to see many of you at the Colorado All Service Academy Ball held on December 29th at the Broadmoor. Be sure to check out the photos. If you did not make it this year, we highly recommend attending next year. The Valentines Goodie Bag Assembly is in just a few short weeks. Please join us for fellowship and fun as we assemble the treats for the cadets on February 12, 2023, at the Cadet Field House. Check out the link for volunteering. This year has just flown by and It is hard to believe that the firsties will be graduating in just a few quick months! We look forward to learning where the Class of 2023 cadets will be headed for their first assignments. We wish them the best to finish well in this semester! We will be resuming our End of the Year Celebration this year for the first time since before Covid! We would love you to join us as we celebrate these cadets. It will be April 29, 2023, for lunch from 12 to 2:30 pm. An invitation will be forthcoming! The seniors will be presented with their gift from CPC. Speaking of graduation, that momentous day also marks the beginning of our new CPC board year. We will have many positions to fill at our Spring General Membership meeting on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. It will be just after our End of Year Celebration! We hope you will join us! Thank you for considering a position to help us keep the club running smoothly! We have many families that will be stepping down this year since their cadets will be graduating. Thanks to all of them for the help over the years. Thank you for the consideration in filling their roles. These next four months will allow you to participate in a background role as you learn the ins and outs of that position. Elected Board Positions to be filled: Fundraising Chair - In this capacity you'll be responsible for overseeing the Goodie Bag Chair(s) and any other club fundraising efforts. In addition, you'll be reaching out to our community partners to seek funds for some of our activities (Tailgates, Colorado Night, etc.) and track donations received throughout the year. Vice-President(s) - The Vice-President(s) oversee CPC Public Relations, including the Webmaster, Tailgate Chair, and Photographer/ Videographer Co-Secretary – We have split this position into two roles. The role we are looking to fill is managing the membership database. Other Positions to be filled: 2023 New Appointee Event Co-Chair – Work alongside Helly Duncan as a Co-Chair to make this event a great success. It will be at Top Golf on 10 June 23. I-Day Chair(s) - We are looking forward to again hosting our traditional picnic this year for In-Processing Day for the class 0f 2027. We will need an organized individual (or team) to lead this signature event. This committee chair will work closely with the AOG and USAFA senior leadership on this joint effort. The I-Day chair leads the team of CPC volunteers to cover everything from food prep and serving, to volunteer coordinating, to the letter writing campaign, etc. 2023 Colorado All Service Academy Ball Representative - The joint service academy committee (led by the US Military Academy) will begin meeting soon to start planning the event to be held in December 2023. The USAFA representative represents the Air Force Academy on this committee. Please contact the Presidents for more information or to volunteer for any of these positions. We look forward to working with you to help enrich the Academy experience of our cadets! Our prayers are with the family and friends of Cadet Hunter Brown. Upcoming Events20-22 April 2023 Recognition for fourth-class cadets. More information may be found here. 23 April 2023 - CPC End of Year Celebration for all CPC Member Cadets and families. Time: 12-2:30 pm. Location: Cadet Lodge. Join us for lunch and celebrating the cadets. It will be an honor to present the Seniors with their gift from CPC. The invitation will be forthcoming. 29 April 2023 - Spring General Membership Meeting/Elections We will be electing new members to the Executive Board. More information will be forthcoming. This will be right after our End of Year Celebration at the same location. Time: 2:30 to 4:30 pm. 7 May 2023 - Spring Goodie Bag Assembly Come help put together our spring goodie bags. 1 June 2023 - Graduation 10 June 2023 - New Appointee Event This will be located at Top Golf in Colorado Springs. More details will be forthcoming. 28 June 2023 - In-processing Day for the class of 2027. We are hoping we can host our traditional I-Day Picnic. |

Goodie Bags are our primary fundraiser, and Goodie Bag sales enable us to host the annual I-Day picnic, tailgates, cadet awards, and all of our other events. Without Goodie Bag sales, there is less that we are able to do. Order your goodie bags today! |
Volunteer OpportunitiesWe aren't able to operate without our volunteers! Fundraiser is great and crucial to our mission, but so are you. Help us enhance the experience of your cadet, all Colorado cadets, and even all new parents as we host the I-Day picnic, assemble and deliver Goodie Bags, and other services/events throughout the year.
