News From CPCHappy December, CPC Families!
As we close out 2024 and welcome 2025, I want to first wish everyone a joyous holiday season celebrating with family and friends. Thank you so much for your support to the USAFA Colorado Parents’ Club in 2024. Danny and Kathy Cometto have been amazing leaders throughout the majority of 2024 and we are grateful for their continued support until the end of the academic year. What a year this has been for CPC! I would be remiss not to share and reflect on a few highlights in 2024. We couldn’t do any of this without the support of all of you and our Executive Board so THANK YOU!
I hope everyone can attend the Colorado All Service Academy Ball (CASAB) on December 28th. The CASAB committee has been working hard to make this a fun and festive event. See more CASAB information below. It’s not too late to get your tickets, they are on sale until December 15th! I am thrilled to share USAFA has created “Official” Parent Facebook pages! Please take a minute and join! This will be the “one stop shop” to access important information coming directly from USAFA through the USAFA Parent Liaison Team. If you only join one USAFA Facebook group it should be this one! You can access each individual Class by clicking here and more information is below. There are many CPC activities planned for 2025 - starting with Valentine's Goodie Bag assembly in February. With this, and all of our planned activities, we need your help to make it a success so please join us! The sign up will be coming shortly after the new year; be on the lookout! We also are very excited for the USAFA Taste of Home (TOH) coming March 12-13, 2025! Please see below for a special request from the Co-Chairs of TOH. I hope each family will consider donating $25 to support this amazing event for our cadets! I know we are all excited to have our cadets home over the holiday season and I hope everyone can take minute to slow down and reflect, squeeze their cadet, and most importantly capture some R&R before we jump into 2025! Join Colorado Parents ClubOur strength is in our numbers. Join and receive regular updates from CPC regarding important USAFA information and upcoming events. Attend tailgates and other meet and greet activities. Your senior cadet will also receive a one-of-a-kind gifts before graduation.
The Colorado Parents Club It is a great way to serve and give back to those at the Academy as well as meet other Academy parents and forge friendships that will last beyond the Academy years. |
Buy Goodie BagsPut a smile on a cadet with a bag full of non-perishable foods, snacks and AF logo novelty items made especially for each Goodie Bag. Bag are assembled with love and hand delivered right to the cadet's room.
Goodie Bags are our primary fundraiser, and Goodie Bag sales enable us to host the annual I-Day picnic, tailgates, cadet awards, and all of our other events. Without Goodie Bag sales, there is less that we are able to do. Order your goodie bags today! |
Volunteer OpportunitiesWe aren't able to operate without our volunteers! Fundraiser is great and crucial to our mission, but so are you. Help us enhance the experience of your cadet, all Colorado cadets, and even all new parents as we host the I-Day picnic, assemble and deliver Goodie Bags, and other services/events throughout the year.
