News & Announcements
News From CPCHappy November, CPC Families!
Where has the year gone? Here we are in the middle of November with the December holidays sneaking right around the corner! I would be remiss not to extend a GIGANTIC thank you to all our volunteers who made our Halloween Goodie Bags assembly a success! This year, we sold over 1,700 bags, which happens to be the most ever! This success is much to do with the organizational skills and tremendous design ideas by Lauralee Hitzler (’26), our Goodie Bag Chair. THANK YOU, LAURALEE, on behalf of all of CPC, USAFA Parents, and USAFA Cadets from all over the country! Another thanks to Tamra & Chris Carter (’28), Co-Vice Presidents, for taking on the monthly newsletter starting this month. I can speak from experience these are no easy feat, and I appreciate them stepping up to take it on! As a reminder, we are seeking a new Secretary to join our Executive Board. If you have even a remote interest, please reach out to me to chat. We have a great group on the board, and we would love to have you! The feeling of "giving back" is one that never gets old! Please support CPC by purchasing your holiday wreaths, centerpieces, & trees for all your friends and family! I cannot wait to receive mine, and I heard how wonderful they are from those who purchased last year. I am also SUPER happy to announce we are ready to sell our custom USAFA luggage tags/key chains. Some of you saw these at a recent Tailgate, and we are ready to open them up on our website! They are a great one-of-a-kind custom gift! Before we know it CASB (Colorado All-Service Academy Ball) will be upon us, don’t forget to take advantage of the early bird discount; all the details are below. This will be an evening you won't want to miss, and even if your cadet cannot attend, you should! Wishing everyone an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday! Don’t forget to take a moment to reflect on what you are thankful for in your life. I personally am grateful to the USAFA CPC family and the opportunity to volunteer alongside all of you!
