News & Announcements
News From CPCFirst, our hearts and prayers are with the Koonce family during this difficult time.
Although we haven’t been able to attend the tailgates yet, it’s been wonderful to hear how successful they’ve been! A huge thank you to our amazing team for all their hard work, and to everyone who pitched in with their time and treats. Be sure to check out some tailgate photos below! We were blessed with fantastic weather for Parents' Weekend! We hope you enjoyed your time with your cadets and had the chance to connect with other USAFA families. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped at the Parents’ Information Fair – we had a great turnout, and Goodie Bag sales are up! Speaking of Goodie Bags, don’t forget the deadline for the 3-pack/Halloween orders is October 17th. Spread the word if you haven’t ordered yet! We’re excited to share that Kim Cheri, our Vice President, attended this year’s Parents’ Club Conference, where she heard from USAFA senior leadership on their priorities and provided valuable feedback on behalf of cadets and parents. Kim also connected with parent clubs across the country, learning best practices to help us better serve you. Looking ahead, mark your calendars for our Colorado Parents’ Club General Membership Meeting in October 13 at 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to network, ask questions, and provide feedback that helps us make CPC even better. Finally, it’s time for us to pass the baton to new leadership. We have truly enjoyed our time serving the CPC, and we want to thank you all for your support over the last few years. Though we’ll be stepping down, we’ll still be around as our son Benjamin graduates this year, and we’re happy to help with any questions. Please join us in welcoming Kim Cheri (’27) as our new President, and Chris & Tamra Carter (’28) who will serve as Vice Presidents to support her. We’re confident CPC is in excellent hands with these amazing leaders! We’re so thankful for everyone who’s contributed to keeping CPC strong. Please continue to volunteer and help us support the cadets! Wishing your cadets a successful semester, Danny & Kathy Cometto USAFA CPC Co-Presidents USAFA Parent Liaison Information |
