Annual Dinner
All graduating seniors will be honored.

Invitations have been mailed out and reservations are requested by April 18th. If you have not recevied one, click on this link Annual Dinner and you will be able to download a copy of the invitation. Doolie Parents Field Day Picnic

Field Day behind the Cadet Gym (JV football field). Parents may observe, but not interact with your basic. CPC sponsors a picnic for parents, family members and invited guests immediately following the Field Day Activities

The Field Day activities are on the public part of the USAFA - the picnic is not!

IMPORTANT!: Unless you are authorized access to the secure area of the USAFA, we must have the following information via E-mail so that we can provide it to the AF Security Forces. We need to know names and phone numbers of ALL the people in your party who will be coming. If you are not sure someone will be attending, send in the information anyhow. If we do not get the information, you will not be able to attend!

WHEN: Saturday, July 16th, from approximately 12 Noon to 3:00 PM
WHERE: FamCamp Picnic Area #2 across from the football stadium. (directions below!)

Welcome all parents, family member and friends of Colorado's Basic/Doolie Cadets! Come meet other Colorado families, enjoy good food, share some stories and join the Colorado Parents Club. Upper-class cadet parents, please extend an invitation to your cadet to join you at the 'Field Day Picnic'. The CPC will provide chicken breasts, burgers, hot dogs, condiments, drinks and table settings.

If your last name begins with:

  • A - L, please bring a side dish to share.
  • M - Z, please bring a dessert or fresh fruit to share.


Directions:   FamCamp Picnic Area #2 is due east of the intersection of Stadium Boulevard and Academy Drive, which is just slightly north of due east of Falcon Stadium. Follow the unpaved road a short distance into the parking area which is marked Picnic Area #2. Look for the signs and balloons!

CPC-sponsored tailgate before the Air Force versus Wyoming football game. The CPC provides the main dish and drinks and everyne brings sides and desserts to share. Held at our picnic area at the stadium.

Formal dinner dance for Colorado cadets who attend any of the five United States Service Academies. This formal affair is also intended for dates, family and friends of the cadets. This year's ball will be held at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.

Social activity. In 2005, we ate lunch at Mitch's Hall and then had an orientation with the cadet falconers. They showed us several falcons, letting us touch them and stand alongside them, and put on an outstanding demonstration. In other years there have been gatheirng for sport events

Annual tribute to the graduating Colorado firsties! Currently held at the Falcon Stadium Press Box dining area in an informal atmosphere. There is normally a guest speaker (Lt Gen Rosa spoke in 2005) and the graduating seniors are presented with a graduation gift and a CD with a multimedia presentation. This presentation includes individual sections for each Colorado cadet containing pictures from their time at the USAFA. Also, the new officers for the next year are introduced, marking the start of their time in office.
